I was effected greatly by the Vietnam War. I didn't go myself but many of my friends and relatives did with real adverse effects to their personalities and generally how they saw the world after their return. My cousin was killed by a land mine and my best frient was injured twice and now has partial fingers on his left hand and serious scarring on his arm.
